Terms of Service

Last updated: October 17, 2026

These terms govern your use of PaidCheck (the "Service"), operated by PaidCheck ("we", "us"). By creating an account or running a report you agree to them. If you use the Service for a company, you confirm you're allowed to accept these terms on its behalf.

1. What PaidCheck does

PaidCheck compares billing data from your Stripe account with access data from your own application and reports possible mismatches: paying customers without access, non-paying users with access, possible duplicate charges, and webhook delivery problems. It also estimates "revenue at risk".

PaidCheck is an informational tool. It reads data; it never changes anything in Stripe or your app, never issues refunds and never grants or revokes access. Every finding is a signal for you to review. You are responsible for any action you take, including refunds, access changes and communications with your customers.

2. Your account

You sign in with a link sent to your email. Keep access to that inbox secure; anyone who can read it can sign in. You must be at least 18 and provide an email address you control.

3. Your data and credentials

4. Plans, billing and cancellation

The one-time leak report is free. Paid plans (currently $19/month for one app and $49/month for up to five apps, each app checked once a day) are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, and we don't provide prorated refunds except where required by law. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email; changes apply from your next billing period.

5. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the Service. That includes connecting data you're not authorized to use, attempting to access other users' data, probing or overloading the Service, reverse engineering it to build a competing product, or using it for anything unlawful.

6. Availability and accuracy

We work to keep PaidCheck accurate and available, but checks can be delayed, incomplete or wrong. For example, a customer may use a different email in Stripe than in your app, or your access feed may be misconfigured. Scheduled checks and alert emails may be missed. Don't rely on PaidCheck as your only control over billing or access.

7. Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WON'T BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE OR DATA. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AND (B) US$50.

9. Indemnity

You agree to cover claims brought against us by third parties, including your end users, arising from data you connected without authorization or from your violation of these terms.

10. Termination

You can stop using PaidCheck and delete your apps at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or put the Service or other users at risk. When an app is deleted, its stored credentials and reports are deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we'll notify you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Pennsylvania have exclusive jurisdiction, except where your local consumer law says otherwise.
